Success begins with failure (GULP)

Greetings and welcome to my blog!  I am writing this blog as my own creative outlet to share stories, exciting things (well exciting to me) and other useful (or not) information about my life, leadership and most importantly failures that turned into lessons.  I LOVE learning new things and I have come to the conclusion that God wants me to learn lessons the hard way most of the time, which is directly related to do things the “wrong” way and having to fix mistakes and learn to not repeat those mistakes.

I have been the CEO of a non profit organization for almost ten years, hence the need to do something creative, and prior to that I was in different leadership positions within the YMCA of Greater Kansas City and the American Cancer Society and even as a student at Baker University.  One of these days when I am looking for a fun giggle I will talk about the year I spent in before and after school care as “Ms. Toniann” where I drove a bus and ran a summer camp for school aged children….just sit on that information for a little bit…let it sink in….and double check the credentials of those individuals caring for your children.

In 2014 I also jumped on the Young Living Essential Oils bus!  I LOVE LOVE LOVE them!  I use oils for everything and most recently became certified (term used loosely) to teach Lucy Libido classes!!  Stay tuned for that blog post!!

Thanks for joining me!  I would LOVE to hear from you in my comments section and if you have a good story to share about leadership please contact me!
